And the Belle of the Ball is the Queen Bee Herself...All Hail Beyonce

When I saw the pictures of Beyonce at last nights Schiaparelli & Prada : Impossible Conversations Costume Institute Gala, famously known as the Met Ball  . This event being one of the most coveted annual events that such  mere mortals like myself aspire and work hard to grace one day attracts the creme de la creme of high society in the sphere of the Arts , Fashion , Music. But what always lingers about this events are the fashion choices of many. With this years being no different having been attended by Marc Jacobs (forgive him as he has sinned for that lace tresspass) , Ashley Olsen , Florence Welch ,Donnatella Versace ( One more Nip/Tuck and I swear she is a goner),Karolina Kurkova to name just a few .

But However what led  me to be inking this is the return to the red carpet that  Beyoncce made.Lord knows I have tried to steer clear from that woman on this blog but DAAYYYM !!!!! .That dress she pulled led me to realising that she truly is at the peak of her game and is well on her way to Iconic Status if arguably not there yet. With her being famous for being a follwer as compared to her trail blazing and trendsetting counterparts such as Lady Gaga Van McQueen recently Mugler. But what she did this year to mark her return led me to hail her as this year if arguably not the years best Haute Couture Queen.

The Fairest in New York Last Night adorned a Givenchy Haute Couture by Ricardo ensemble that left nothing to the imagination except for the forbidden Fruits that bore her an "Ivy" which were covered by hand sown embroidery .As for the feathers lets just say that in my eyes that creation was a pure work of art that will be celerated from here onwards. All I know is that she gave that Zap sign to all those that thought that swans come in only one holy colour!
